Welcome to this new school year! I'm so excited to meet and get to know you all.
In my class, you can expect to:
- Read and write... a lot
- Work as a whole group, in small groups, and independently
- Work on fun and creative projects
- Build your skills
- Be successful

A note on being "fair":
Everyone wants to be different and have their own identity. I've never understood the concept of wanting to be treated exactly the same as everyone else. "Fair" to me means that each person will be given tasks and support that they need in order to be successful.
Throughout this year, we will all be on a journey together. I absolutely expect to grown and learn from each one of you and hope that each of you will learn and grow from me. There will be times when we are feeling lost and need some clarification. Always ask questions.
